Raises Funds with Western BBQ
August, 2006

Members, sponsors, and founders of PCAA, Orange County met for fund raising and good times at the "Founders Western BBQ". The BBQ was held at Boomer Canyon Cattle Camp in Irvine, CA. PCAA is a private, non-profit support group to the Orange County Probation Department dedicated to helping youth and rebuilding families.

A Land Developer's New Frontier: The Mind
November 27th, 2006

Progress is often a function of flexibility. At first, the idea was to help improve test scores of schoolchildren. The thinking was that higher test scores at local schools could attract higher income workers and their families to live in the San Bernardino area. But as CSUSB administrators proposed creating a literacy institute to help students with reading problems, something clicked in Jim Watson.

San Bernardino looks at new urban projects
November 6th, 2005

CSUSB professor Sant Khalsa is quoted in The Press-Enterprise about two planned use projects in the city of San Bernardino to combine homes, offices, shops and artists' studios in the same neighborhood, emphasizing walking instead of driving. One of the projects, called the Colony, is part of J. R. Watson & Associates Development Corporation University Park subdivision at University and Northpark boulevards that would have the construction of 22 units, each with upstairs living space and a ground floor suitable for art studios or offices. Khalsa consulted with Watson as it designed the project.

Regency At University Park Opened In San Bernardino
LA Times - November 20, 2004

December will mark the preview opening of Regency at University Park, a collection of 90 new luxury detached homes on quarter-acre lots adjacent to California State University San Bernardino, according to the Corona-based Inland Empire division of Richmond American Homes. The Regency property is located northwest of the intersection of University Parkway and Northpark Boulevard.
