$100,000 Grant Commitment by
J. R. Watson & Associates Development Corporation
to CSUSB Education Department to create a Needles California K-12 Literacy Program and related to the research park.

$ 30,000 Grant to CSUSB to Plant and Maintain for 3 Years the University Native Oak and Walnut Forest, University Park Project, San Bernardino California
California Native Oak and Walnut Forest planted and Maintained by CSUSB Science Department, through a grant from J. R. Watson & Associates Development Corporation. In excess of 400 Trees will be managed and set-aside by J. R. Watson & Associates Development Corporation and planted and maintained for a minimum of 3 years by the Science Department Professors and Students of CSUSB. 
Planting January 2006.

University Native Oak and Walnut Forest Planting Begins

$ 25,000 Grant to CSUSB, to Plant and Maintain a California Native Oak and Walnut Forest at the
J. R. Watson & Associates Development Corporation pledged a $25,000 grant, or more if necessary, to CSUSB to plant and maintain a Native Oak and Walnut Forest.  In excess of 600 trees will be managed and set-aside by J. R. Watson & Associates Development Corporation and planted and maintained for a minimum of 3 years by the Science Department Professors and Students of CSUSB. 
Planting to occur, Fall of 2006.

City Of San Bernardino

$200,000 J. R. Watson & Associates Development Corporation Grant challenge accepted by the City of San (See before and after illustrations).
In addition to the $200,000 matching challenge J. R. Watson & Associates Development Corporation also provided the Landscape Plan.  More then 3 miles of Public Right of Way on Del Rosa Ave, Lynwood Ave. and Sterling Ave will be planted on both sides of the Street.  Landscaping will be from the Fwy (will be the I-30) to Foothill Ave.
Planting is scheduled for the Spring of 2006.

$20,000 J. R. Watson & Associates Development Corporation Grant to The City of San Bernardino to Landscape the I-215 off Ramp at University Parkway.

$275,000 Expended by J. R. Watson & Associates Development Corporation to Install 32 Injection Wells for Water Conservation Efforts in San Bernardino
32 Injection Wells, were installed for the conservation and scrubbing of ground water that would otherwise be lost to storm drains.  This is the first time this type of conservation effort has been implemented in the City of San Bernardino.

$ 5,773,500 Million Appraised Value for six City Parks and Trails to be developed by J. R. Watson & Associates Development Corporation
J. R. Watson & Associates Development Corporation has secured property for the expansion of parks and trails beyond the City’s resources.
Completion of all Parks and Trails to be on or before Spring 2007

Jim Watson has provided and maintains the Trees for Seal Beach web site to educate and acquire sponsors and volunteers for the movement to beautify Seal Beach, in addition to on going financial support for planting and tree trimming.
