(NWC University Pkwy. & North Park Blvd - Across the street from CSUSB campus.) University Park is a "branded" master planned community situated on 130 acres beneath the Arrowhead Mountains adjacent to the campus of California State University at San Bernardino. Included within University Park are developments such as the Shops at University Park, The Promenade, The Art Colony, The Regency, and The Pinnacle.

The Promenade at University Park
Designed to be situated next to the Shops are a live-work and residential development, with 112 attached and detached single family residences (some abutting the hillside), 54 live-work dwellings, for a total of 166 residences. In addition to these dwellings, there is a proposed recreation building of 1,360 sq. ft., a pool, barbeque, picnic area, public park and a trail system for residence use. (Large Site Plan Image).

The Shops at University Park
Located immediately across the street from CSUSB Campus at the west corner of University Park and Northpark Boulevard, The Shops is proposed to consist of a 15,234 sq. ft. retail shopping center and a plaza area for outdoor activities and relaxation. The plaza area is proposed to contain trellised seating, misters in the trellises so people can visit and stay cool in the summer time, over 5,000 sq. ft. of landscaping and a public art fountain. Also, located in the Shops area is the University Building, donated by Watson & Associates to CSUSB, consisting of 11,525 sq. ft. interior space and 2,350 sq. ft. roof deck. There will be a dedicated public art piece in the exterior courtyard. The buildings use is proposed for Advanced Placement offices and a conference center. Together the Shops and the Promenade have been designed to have a University Village feel and function.

The Art Colony at University Park
Like the Promenade the Art Colony contains Live-work residential dwellings. The architecture consists of a unique ‘Cubist’ or ‘Techno-Industrial’ cutting edge design for this residential locale but is also consistent with the University Park Development architecture. Located within a 10 minute walk from the University, it is an ideal location for faculty to live, create and display their art at monthly community open houses, dubbed "Friday Night Art Walks." The project incorporates significant guest parking and a 1/2 acre art theme children's park showcasing public art works created by community members (Site Plan Drawing).

Regency at University Park
Located between the Promenade and Art Colony is a residential subdivision of 105 residences with 4 floor plans ranging from 2,801 to 3,774 sq. ft. Also included in the Regency development are 2 parks Regency and Collegian Park (Regency Models).

 

The Pinnacle at University Park
An up-scale semi-custom residential with estimated home sales pricing from the high 700k to 900k range, plus options and consisting of 54 residences, located 75-250’ above Regency giving the residence a beautiful view of the surrounding area.
