Coyote Conservatory for the Arts
The Department of Theater Arts
in the College of Arts and Letters, California State University
San Bernardino, established the Coyote Conservatory for
the Arts as a place where children within the area served
by the university may have greater exposure and access
to the arts. Children ages 2 through 15 have access to
workshops and after-school classes in creative drama, acting,
improvisation, stagecraft, musical theater, dance, puppetry,
and creative writing under the guidance of CSUSB faculty
and students.
The Coyote Conservancy for the arts is located
in the Arts on 5th complex in San Bernardino. Activities
are provided at a very low cost, with many children attending
class at no cost through scholarships.
Dean Eri Yasuhara, College of Arts and Letters,
California State University San Bernardino, has expressed
appreciation of the $10,000 gift from Watson & Associates
which will aid the conservancy in its long standing aim of
adding visual arts programming at the conservatory.
